Today is the first day of school here in Florida,. My kids were excited since last night. We fixed all their stuff before going to bed.
Kirstan, my son, He got up so early, (see, he’s too excited). I told him to go back to sleep and i’ll wake him up if its time.

Liena, my daughter is excited to see her bestfriend margaret. She’s expecting to see her classmates from 2nd grade. I know how hard it is for liena to interact with kids because she is a shy person, She’s quiet and reserved most of the time, So every time she find a friend , she value the friendship she had with that person.

She hada best friend when she was in first grade, her name is alyssa. but sadly,we have to move and she has to change school again. She was crying when i told her that were moving to this house,(we used to live in the apartment) She’s afraid that she wont find any friends in the new school, but i told her, its okay, you will eventually find a new friends there.

So when she went to 2nd grade, She found one, shes half filipina and half american and her name is margaret.

So she was excited and expecting to see her today, but when i drop her to her new class, she cant find her.. She don’t know anybody from there. Everyone is new to her.

I saw her face, she was so sad and begun to cry in the classroom, Its the first time i saw liena crying because when she in kinder she never cry and i knew at that moment that shes not crying because i will leave her.. but because she’s sad and maybe afraid that she wont have friends anymore.

I asked her if shes alright and she told me “i guess not”. I told her that its okay,just be nicce to everyone and dont be always shy, talk to them and you will have friends later,
i cant stay long, i have to leave her. Im so sad for my daughter.

I know how she feel, she loses a friend again and that shes gonna find another one again which is kinda hard for her since , i dont know how soon shes gonna meet another margaret or another alyssa or maybe not.
but i know she will have friends again..

btw, today is my sister kate’s birthday (shes 5months?? pregnant) so yeah, happy birthday to you, i know you read my blog.
