Im so tired today because i fixed the garden, i put like 10 bags of mulch on some part of it and took out some plants. Im going to replace it with something that wont grow taller than our window.. :P

I want to plant flowers but i dont know what kind of flowers that can stand both winter and summer, I might have to do a reseach on this. Its tiring, but when you see the result after , its a overwhelming feeling.. weee! im proud of myself, because im not really into gardening, but ever since we bought this house, i feel its my obligation to make our front yard as well as the backyard to look nice.

Anyway,Hubby asked if i can make Bibimbap for him, He love bibimbap.. (its a korean dish) and also padthai (thai dish) i might make padthai this week and ill will do a video too.. its hard to take videos while your cooking at the same time haha!

My husband love to eat beef kelaguen (a local dish from Guam). this is actually a kilawin in tagalog. but it uses beef..

i dont know if you are familiar with kilawing sibuyas? my mom used to make that and i love it!

let me share you the recipe.

Beef Kelaguen

you will need beef steak

lemon juice or lemon powder (i always use the powdered one, but if you dont have it, you can use the lemon juice)

salt to taste

soy sauce

green onion (cut into small pieces)

onion (cut into small cubes)

pepper

first you cut the beef into thin slice
then add about half cup of water.. depend on how much is your beef

add the lemon juice. (i prefer lemon powder)
the salt and soysauce ( i dont normally measure what i put in,i rely on my taste bud

then add the green onion and the pepper or if you dont have pepper, you can use tabasco. again, it depends on how you want it to taste.. if you want it hot. put a lot,. if not, just put a little.

then mix it together.. refrigerate it and let it absorb the juice for about one hour and enjoy

heres the finish product.

I cook fast hehe . (shortcuts). This is how i cook my chicken soup/sopas.

My kids asked what am i cooking.. i said chicken sopas. and liena said.. so fast? the chicken is so fast? hubby and me are laughing, kirstan said this is the fastest soup in all the soup? i said yes,
well, i said to them that soup is sopas in tagalog. :P

ingredients:
Carrot,potato,red bellpepper, (cut into cubes)
optional: green onion, celery
chicken strips (himayin mo, whats himay in english anyway?) if you dont have chicken you can use ground beef /turkey or ground chicken.
noodles or macaroni (i use spaghetti noodles because hubby likes it, but you can also use elbow macaroni or shell macaroni.

patis(fish sauce), i always use knorr beef seasoning because its better :P

what i do is cook the noodle first. while its cooking..

On another pot, saut’ee the onion, and garlic in oil, then chicken and ground turkey until its cook.then add water, maybe half of the pots and the knorr seasoning about 2 tbs.spoonfull, .

Let it boil, then put the potato, when its half cook, put the carrot and the rest of the ingredients, let it simmer for atleast 2 minutes, then add the noodles. simmer again for 2 minutes (since our noodles is cooked already)then add your milk and a little pepper if you want. and your done!
